Utilizing small highly compact printed electro magnets that replace; the flexible diaphragm, the solid magnet and the wire coil magnet in the standard loud speaker design, with a piston based structure; to create the sound / air vibrations.
Piston like machine functions utilizing a printed coil magnet technology. The structure is similar to pneumatic pistons and piston/manifold designs, but require less parts.
A series of printed electro magnetic coils, bars or plates within a mix of rubber/silicon like printable material that can allow for a range of motion, shapes, and joints. By electrifying the individual or groups of magnets with opposing or attracting magnetic poles, the deformation of the structure will cause it to move. This deformation can be controlled in very accurate, and specific ways.
Printed rows of highly conductive or super conductive material in layers (spirals) that would interconnect with the next layer (plane). The printed spiral will form an electro magnet. Insulation material would / could also be printed between and above each layer. The layer would be printed at “millimeter”, “micrometer” or “nanometer” scale thickness per wire.
